Studio Kloumi

Studio Kloumi has developed its identity through an obsessive search for detail, constantly oscillating between art and design.

Studio Kloumi is an interdisciplinary design studio based in Eindhoven. Inspired by the singular beauty of natural elements (phenomenons, textures), the studio experiments with various craft processes to create unique pieces. Studio Kloumi has developed its identity through an obsessive search for detail, constantly oscillating between art and design.

Clémentine Buffa, the studio's founder, was born in Nice (South of France) and graduated from the Design Academy Eindhoven in 2022. 

With the 'Ora' collection, Studio Kloumi wants to show metal in its most original and natural form, drawing inspiration from the textures of metal ores before they are transformed into building material. The reference to the mineral world and its rare beauty is omnipresent in Studio Kloumi’s work. Through a meticulous search for detail, the metal is hammered, deformed and textured by hand: this powerful act, difficult to control, gives each piece a unique pattern.
