Sang Hoon Kim took his early childhood experiences from his family's business of owning a Foam Factory and finding new ways to transform the material into collecible design pieces.

Sang Hoon Kim is familiar with the Polyurethane foam (memory foam), for his family business has been operating ‘Foam factory’ over the last three generations. Naturally, it is the material that he has had an interest since he was a child.

He has been interested in the fact that he could control the various properties of the foam so he came up with new works.
